23 June 2018 - "Having won 15 National "Sporter" air rifle team championship

titles in the past four years, Nation Ford High School (NFHS) Marine Corps

Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (MCJROTC) finally earned the one

title that had eluded the team coached by Colonel Sean T. Mulcahy, United

States Marine Corps (Retired).  For the past two years, Nation Ford's team

finished second place at the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) National

"Sporter" Air Rifle Championships.  On 23 June 2018, at the Gary Anderson

CMP Competition Center at Camp Perry, Ohio, the team finally achieved the

coveted title that has escaped them.  The day prior, the team won the

National Junior Olympic "Sporter" title for the second consecutive year.

Colonel Mulcahy says that although this team is not his best performing team

of all time, this team is the most resilient and dedicated of all the teams

he has coached.  The NFHS MCJROTC team won the MCJROTC National

Championships in February for the third consecutive year as well as the

National Rifle Associations' Standing and 3-Position National Championships

earlier in June."
